Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases, bookings and services provided by Haigh Craft Co., a trading style of Merrick Crafts Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17436594), registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.

By placing an order or making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our products

Our products are handmade and may therefore have small imperfections or variations in colour, texture, shape and finish. These variations are a natural part of handmade products and should not be considered faults where the item is otherwise of satisfactory quality and matches its description. We aim to ensure that photographs and descriptions of our products are accurate, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

2. Product orders

When our online shop is open, product listings will provide details of the item, price and any relevant delivery or collection information. Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance of that order. We will confirm acceptance when your order has been processed. If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you and provide a refund where appropriate. Prices shown on our website will be those applicable at the time of purchase.

3. Delivery and collection

Where delivery is available, the available delivery options and associated costs will be shown when you place your order. We will aim to meet any stated delivery times but cannot be responsible for delays caused by third parties or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where local collection is offered, collection arrangements will be provided when you place your order.

4. Returns and cancellations

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

For online purchases, consumers may have a legal right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving goods, subject to applicable exceptions. Certain products may be exempt from cancellation rights where permitted by law, including personalised or bespoke items made specifically to a customer's requirements. Where cancellation rights apply, we will provide the required information and instructions at the time of purchase.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items should be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can arrange an appropriate remedy.

5. Workshops

Workshop places must be booked in advance where booking is required. Details of each workshop, including age requirements, duration, price and what is included, will be provided at the time of booking. Please arrive promptly and no later than the time specified for your booking. Late arrival may reduce the amount of time available for your activity, or at our discretion, result in you not being able to access the workshop, if this affects the experience of other participants.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to workshop content where necessary, for example because of availability of materials or circumstances outside our control.

6. Workshop cancellations

Our cancellation and refund arrangements for individual workshops will be clearly stated when the booking is made. If we need to cancel or significantly change a workshop, we will contact affected customers and offer an appropriate alternative, rearrangement or refund where applicable.

7. Parties and private events

Details of private parties and events, including the activities provided, number of guests, duration, price and any catering or refreshments, will be agreed at the time of booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have received any required deposit or payment. Specific cancellation arrangements will be provided when the booking is made.

8. Children and supervision

Where children attend workshops or parties, the applicable age range and supervision requirements will be stated when booking. Parents, guardians and responsible adults remain responsible for children in their care unless we have expressly agreed otherwise as part of a particular event.

We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving in an unsafe, abusive or disruptive manner to leave the premises.

9. Studio activities and materials

Craft activities involve the use of tools, materials, paints, glazes, clay, heat and other equipment depending on the activity. We will provide appropriate instructions and safety information for activities. Customers must follow instructions given by Haigh Craft Co. staff and use equipment only as directed. We reserve the right to refuse participation in an activity where we reasonably believe that someone's behaviour creates a safety risk to themselves or others.

10. Food and drink

Where refreshments are provided, we will provide information about relevant allergens where required. Customers should tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements before attending an event where food or drink is being provided. We cannot guarantee that our premises or food preparation areas are completely free from particular allergens.

11. Alcohol

Where permitted for a particular private adult event, customers may be allowed to bring their own alcohol. Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and in accordance with any instructions provided by Haigh Craft Co. We reserve the right to refuse to provide our services or ask anyone who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately to leave and no refund will be due.

12. Liability

We will take reasonable care in providing our products, workshops and events. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

13. Events outside our control

We will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, power failure, fire, flooding, government restrictions, illness, industrial disputes or other significant unforeseen events. Where such circumstances affect a booking, we will work with customers to rearrange or provide an appropriate alternative where reasonably possible.

14. Photography

From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during workshops and events for use on our website or social media. We will seek appropriate permission before using identifiable images of customers for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in promotional photography, please let a member of the Haigh Craft Co. team know.

15. Website information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date. We reserve the right to make changes to our products, workshops, services, prices and website content.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as our business develops. The latest version will be published on our website.
